The custom around the « Trauliicht ».

It's a tradition! This year, the « A Possen » museum will once again be lighting « Trauliichter ». Before the turnips can be turned into « Trauliichter », a few steps are necessary. First they are hollowed out, then a scary grimace is designed and carved. On Saturday 26 October, children between the ages of 6 and 12 can do this activity with the help of our mediator and take their own « Trauliicht » home with them at the end of the workshop. As hollowing out and carving the turnips takes a lot of energy, a delicious soup made from the leftover vegetables will be cooked and served together. Oh yes, don't forget! Young visitors are welcome to come dressed up!
