Miselerland
Exhibition of paintings by Ivana Ceković
In the sumptuous hall of the Caves Desom, alongside the monumental mosaics she created in 1999, Ivana Ceković is exhibiting a collection of landscapes of the Luxembourg Moselle. Pictorial research on various media - wood, canvas, paper - explores the specific beauties of Miselerland, the artist's favourite region. Confrontations of pictorially awakened particles highlight sunshine or, similarly, rain showers through landscapes of hills and gradations of vineyards. Come and discover these authentic paintings, as delicate and musical as they are surprising.
Following the Moselle, on the Esplanade near the Caves Desom, you can (re)discover the sculpture Niké, a newly restored winged cow by the same artist. The sculpture was bequeathed to the town of Remich by the Hôtel St Nicolas in 2001.
