Well-known wine centres, famous wine cellars, viewpoints and arranged picnic corners. Statue of St. Vincent on the former water-tower (1912) amidst the vineyards. Windmill park. Cellars of the "Caves Coopératives du Sud". Recreation area. Schengen, where the Agreement of Schengen has been signed, is the southern gate to the Wine Road. St. Mark's Tower dominates the vineyards of the "Markusberg". Nice promenade along the Moselle. Panoramic view from the "Stromberg" over the Moselle and the land of the Three Borders. A bridge links Schengen, well known for its Pinot wines, with the German bank. The "Felsberg" at Wintrange, one of the best wine regions of the Moselle, is dominated by the St. Donat statue. Numerous lakes, created by the extraction of sand in the region, form part of a nature reserve.
