We are delighted to announce the result of the latest recertification of the dream loop (Traumschleife) Manternacher Fiels: this hiking trail has received an impressive 3 additional experience points, achieving an almost perfect score of 96 out of 100 experience points (2021: 93). The premium hiking trail therefore continues to fulfil the strict criteria of the German Hiking Seal of Approval.

This remarkable upgrade is the result of numerous small improvements, such as the replacement of information boards and benches. In addition, two special points were awarded according to the new assessment criteria for the excellent public transport connections. Congratulations to the Syndicat d'Initiative et du Tourisme de Manternach for its commitment and this excellent result.

After the dream loops Wine and Nature Path Palmberg and Schengen without borders were signposted in the last two years in accordance with the new guidelines for hiking trails in Luxembourg from the Ministry of Economy, the dream loop Manternacher Fiels can now also be hiked in a new look.

In 2023, the Saar-Hunsrück Hiking Office published new markers for the Saar-Hunsrück Climb, for the dream loop, so we were able to integrate the new markers into the signposting in Manternach at the same time.
